  • History

Silver cutlery is a unique and valuable element of Norwegian history and heritage. Today, it is just as common to buy second-hand silver, which gives it an extra dimension of reuse and sustainability. Silver cutlery has a long tradition in Norway, and has been used for generations for special occasions and celebrations. It is part of our cultural heritage and a reminder of the traditions and values of our ancestors.

Using silverware is a popular choice for setting the table and serving food in an elegant way. But did you know that silverware can actually have an antibacterial effect?

Silver has long been known for its antibacterial properties, and this also applies to silver cutlery. When silver comes into contact with bacteria, it can inhibit their growth and reproduction, thereby reducing the risk of spreading disease.
